Parts & Customer Service Representative


This is a unique opportunity for a talented drilling industry individual to move into a parts and tooling sales role. It is also an opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about learning all about the geotechnical drilling industry. Our Parts and Customer Service Representative will be key to providing our drilling contractor customers excellent customer service and support by responding to customer inquiries and parts orders in an efficient and timely manner via telephone, email and in person. This individual will become an extension of our customer’s success.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all individuals both internally and externally
  • Respond to customer inquiries and parts orders in an efficient and timely manner via telephone, email and in person
  • Track and follow up with customer leads
  • Generate quotes, pricing proposals, sales orders, RMA’s, and the like
  • Process customer orders
  • Maintain adequate inventory
  • Prepare for inventory counts and be the source to resolve all inventory discrepancies
  • Act as a Product Specialist to those seeking technical assistance and problem resolution
  • Participate in achieving the annual business plan and financial budget for the parts department
  • Provide input to marketing department regarding campaigns to assist dealer development objectives
  • Ability to drive a forklift
  • Can lift 80-lbs
  • PC Skills – Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills
  • Strong in mathematics
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Team oriented, always willing to help a customer or team member
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience (preferred)
